Pft.

Get your ass in gear.

It's damn near 2022...

There's no excuse at this point.

a collection of tokens for gas fee purposes is something that's been on my mind a lot. i don't think it's a bad idea to have a little of each L1 chain just so you can interact with it. today's ETH gas fees are rough unless you've been sittin on ETH for a year.

No it hasn't cos I haven't had the 2nd shot yet, and its adenovector not mRNA.
But what I said is truth and you know it.
You may as well be trading DXY.
Once BTC was useful, for trading on the internet without a central bank, now its the same as everything else.

Is it possible to mint your NFTs on Theta yet?

Like in an idiot proof way that doesn't require any crazy shit?

Or is that capability just not there right now at this juncture?

Thanks for any answers.

If it's not Solsea levels of easy, I can't mess with it right now.

I've been trying to find answers on Google but I keep running across all these screencaps involving code and all kinds of crazy stuff and I can't do that at the moment.

What you are doing in ganbling.
There is no underlying actual "thing" there is no Corn produced no Wheat produced no Gold/Silver delivery.
It is a Ponzi Scheme. I hope you make money out of it though cos I have made money out of Ponzi Schemes.
Just never rely on it. You are gambling.

thetaboard.io has an initial set of creators and drops on their site. they run community guardian and edge nodes, and have a nice page to see your wallet, staked earnings, and nfts. i dm'd one of their admins on discord and showed him a couple of my interdimensional entities and got accepted right away. it's not quite as easy as solsea but it's pretty close. doesn't have the option to keep adding [what is essentially] JSON fields, which kinda sucks cus i'd like to make some with real/faux stats for possible use in some sort of game. i had given thetaboard some tips on layout previously, going so far as to do a redesign mockup in photoshop which got praise, so i've been a conspicuous character.

discord is probably the best way to interact with them. perhaps the only way. they do have a twitter/instagram as well. the way that they do things is different from solsea. solsea lets you make individual NFTs straight to your wallet, and then you can sell them or do whatever. thetaboard is more of a creation of a minting contract, and then people can go and mint your NFTs on demand. you can set it to be unlimited amount, limited amount, or 1 auction, and you set the length of the drop/minting period. anything not minted in that time below your predetermined limit just don't get minted. thetaboard does the asset hosting on its own site, so you don't have to pay arweave fees for example and i think they set the limit to 100MB. they charge 10%, and will eventually have a marketplace at which you'll get royalties for resales of your NFTs. if this type of setup is what you wanted, to sell your stuff, you should contact them and apply to be a creator.

for reference, the manual crazy way is https://docs.thetatoken.org/docs/creatin...blockchain
doesn't seem that bad, but it's not just pointy clicky.

Okay I LOVE the sound of that. It makes so much sense. It's a huge improvement over having to pay to mint them yourself.

I haven't even started making the art that I wanted to release via the Theta network anyway, so I feel like when that's accomplished, things may have changed by then...

Cuz it still sounds a little bit too complicated for me at this point, having to use Discord or contact them for approval at all. Sounds like a very intimate and small world in the Theta NFT (user base) community right now.

It's so fascinating, the progress is making my head spin...

Remember when I was going APESHIT about crypto pets and DEMANDING progress?

https://www.sectual.com/thread-18227.html

That was AUGUST. Not even 6 months ago. It feels like it's been a YEAR.

Now I'm kicking myself because I can hardly keep up with all the progress!!!

Wow!!!

That's what I came across in my searches and my eyes just bugged out like, "Okay I'm gonna look back into this later." LOL.

Just amazing...

Your collection is stellar (pun intended) Genba...

I am leagues beyond proud of you.

It's been incredible to see all this unfold.

you do still have to pay contract creation fees and costs when you set up the minting contracts. it was a couple hundred tfuel for each of my drops. it's based on how many items you have. i didn't sell a ton of NFTs, but it was still totally worth it, especially as i value TFUEL for its future price of at least $4.20.

it is a small pond in the thetaverse for now. pros and cons with that. easier to stick out, harder to go wide.

i'll say this - i found myself at multiple points this year berating myself for not putting more effort into my work ahead of various things happening. progress will continue to increase its pace without regard for us sitting on our hands. if you start feelin that creative urge, dive into it!

i don't mind you calling me either of those, or something else, but i do prefer it stylized all lowercase to stand in opposition to the CORPORATE NAME UCC system.

lol. so you can't just trade actual corn or wheat unless you're at a farmer's market, and you'd probably get kicked out for running around from booth to booth trying to arbitrage. the financial instruments traded under the guise of being a commodity like corn or wheat are not actual things, they are in fact USD denominated gambling contracts. the entire derivative system is a huge ponzi scheme, one that will collapse in 2022. same thing with paper contracts for metals. i do own a stack of silver. it's made basically no profits, whereas my crypto shenanigans refuse to stop giving me profits.

you are not thinking on a logically consistent basis. you don't seem to realize that ALL fiat is going to shit in 2022. evergrande missed its second batch of payments cementing the default. the bond market is fucked, the derivative market is fucked, the fiat system is fucked. the only option is physical metals and good crypto projects. if you don't realize this, you are not going to make it.

They're trying to call crypto investing "brave" now??

LOL...

This is how they're introducing it to the masses?

Are you for serious?

I mean, okay.

Mars at the end?

Are you for serious?

Okay.

Anybody else getting "Army of One" vibes from this?

Remember those TV ads from the early 2000s?

Dafuq?

I mean it's clear they're ready to bring in the masses, or at least the "brave" ones who would identify with that message.

It's clear to see where it's going...

But it's too bad they're using old guard celebs to push it...

Doesn't give much hope of the new boss being any different than the old boss.

What's up their sleeve?

Is there a coin or eco-system for all of the Mosaicinists to invest their time?

Mosaic style art is huge in the NFT world. You could use any of the minting services to share the artwork/release a collection. We've discussed a lot of them here but for a beginner I'd suggest SolSea.

You'd have to find a way to take a good picture of this artwork if it's physical though. It's gotta be high quality on par with being 'scanned in'.

Invest in ETH, it's the most widely used coin for swapping to other coins to pay for minting on the various platforms.
