But I mean, damn, come on...

He IS the richest man in the world.

I mean...

This is basically Elon Musk having purchased a glorified, ridiculously overpriced message board, then becoming the most popular member on it. Which is what always happens when you're the owner of a message board.

Every post he makes is the equivalent of a post on a message board like this... only, his message board is one of the biggest on the internet.

He feels about the platform the exact same way we feel about our message boards... it's just like when we rebrand one of our own sites, or acquire a fun new domain name.

We can all share vicariously in the immense joy Elon is feeling right now.

I think we should join hands...

I think we should come together, to celebrate for Elon.

TBH, a lot of people are but... lol, the apple of one's eye doesn't normally cost $44bn.

He's playing around with one of the internet's most popular sites, at least at the time of writing.

This is so exciting.

X will eventually replace Google too. That's the idea.

Elon changed his bio to X.com so clearly he's expecting people to go there.

X.com redirecting to Twitter is not that impressive.

But maybe the average normie doesn't know that...
