I guess you know you've made it when Metallica shows up for your MTV Unplugged episode.

OK, it didn't show them in that clip but it does at different points
in the episode. I watched [and recorded] this when it first aired
on MTV back in the 90's.

James, Lars, Kirk & Jason showed up and sat in the front row.
They all had new short haircuts and when Mike Inez [AIC bassist]
came out onto the stage he had written "Friends don't let friends
get friends haircuts" on his bass with a black Sharpie. 

Legend has it MO shot this video... on a real nice camera.
And after wrapping, they all went to Waffle House.
